Canon celebrates

three accolades


the 2017 TIPA Awards

Canon Europe, world leader in imaging

solutions, was honoured to announce it

has been awarded three accolades by the

Technical Image Press Association (TIPA)

– one of the world’s leading photo imaging

and press associations. The awards mark

the 23


consecutive year Canon has been

commended by TIPA for its

technical innovations.

Two Canon cameras and one Canon lens

have been recognised as industry-leading

with specific accreditation to meeting the

diverse still shooting and video production

needs of professional and advanced-

amateur users.

The following accolades have

been awarded:

• Best Full-Frame DSLR:

Canon EOS 5D Mark IV

• Best DSLR Standard Zoom Lens:

Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM

• Best Camcorder: Canon XC15

The TIPA panels involve editors from 30

of the world’s leading photography and

imaging magazines; members span 15

countries across five continents. The panel

meets annually to discuss the latest imaging

products, and considers a range of criteria

such as innovativeness, use of leading-edge

technologies, design and overall product

quality, to select and acknowledge the very

best products.
